Causas y efectos del desempleo en la barriada León Febres Cordero perteneciente a la parroquia Buenavista en el periodo 2019-2020

Abstract

Unemployment is one of the oldest social problems in history, until today we can find a very high percentage of people who are unemployed, It should be emphasized that this social problem is a very significant aggravating factor of other existing problems, among which we can mention, poverty, begging, child labor, among others. In addition, the topics that deal with unemployment are very scarce, thus finding not very relevant information that can be attributed to investigations such as this one. That is why this systematization work approaches unemployment from different perspectives, analyzing its causes and effects at the psychosocial level, highlighting the lack of orientation and information to people about this important issue, and determining the most feasible strategy to reduce this social problem that afflicts the inhabitants of the León Febres Cordero neighborhood, belonging to the Buenavista parish, Cantón Pasaje. It should be taken into account that, as well as the causes and effects of the problems presented, there are types of unemployment that affect the inhabitants of the sector in question to a greater or lesser extent. This was aggravated precisely by the Covid-19 health emergency, which brought about an exaggerated increase in unemployment worldwide and, of course, significantly affected the León Febres Cordero neighborhood. The theoretical framework of this systematization project includes a bibliographic compilation from the point of view of various authors on unemployment, from an Empirical - Analytical paradigm, the variants of the research are described, mainly taking as a basis various scientific journals that support the research with accurate information. In the research methodology, the Inductive - Deductive is used, allowing an approach to the problem, through the application of the research approach of mixed character (quantitative-qualitative); This allowed us to know more in detail the problem of unemployment in the León Febres Cordero neighborhood, thanks to the instruments applied by the researchers, which were designed based on the information required, for example, surveys were used with questions relevant to the topic, interviews applied to people strategically to acquire information relevant to the research, observation that allowed us to have direct contact with the sector and affected inhabitants, and of course the literature review that allowed us to acquire the necessary information to develop this project. All these activities were carried out for the completion of this project, allowing us to obtain favorable results in order to subsequently develop the conclusions of the researchers based on what was investigated and observed, and of course the necessary recommendations made in order to provide better conditions for the people living in the León Febres Cordero neighborhood.
