La intervención de trabajador social durante el COVID-19 en el cantón Pasaje provincia de El Oro

Abstract

Our systematization work has the idea of studying the intervention of the social worker during the COVID-19 pandemic, for this it has been decided to take as study population the parish Loma de Franco located in Pasaje, due to its great magnitude a total of 30 inhabitants were taken as a sample. On the other hand, this work has the objective of studying the adversities present in the family that have presented an accident during the time of the pandemic and have been harmed. In this way, it is possible to know the causes and consequences that have generated the pandemic covid 19, to identify the intervention and how to help the social worker, and to systematize the importance of the role of the social work professional. For this, it is necessary to contribute with a mixed methodology, that is to say that it will be based on qualitative studies or problems from their background and quantitative research, which will be done in studying statistics or data and were already revealed. After knowing the basic conceptualizations of the pandemic and the professional intervention, a social diagnosis was made, with the purpose of studying the problematic in its different indexes; that thanks to the help of the diagnostic cycle the studied phenomenon can be executed according to its importance and the processes that are going to be carried out as this systematization of experiences is going to be made. In the same way, technical research tools are used that will help to promote this process, it must be taken into account that these techniques or instruments are specific to the work of the social worker, that is to say that not just any research method can be used. For this, it was decided to use the interview, survey and observation that helped us to determine in a general and individual way the most relevant processes of this problem. When the professional has all the clear points of the problem studied for this systematization process, an intervention plan will be acted according to the needs to be covered in a short or medium period, therefore, our general objective was based on programming social interaction plans through motivational talks and knowledge of public entities such as, help centers and the intervention of a professional who helps oriental and manage a social welfare process for the most vulnerable people. XI The most important activities during this plan were, collecting information from the most affected residents, giving a talk about the intervention of the professional and the help centers. After having completed this process, a positive acceptance was obtained from the inhabitants of the parish in Loma de Franco de Pasaje, many of them filled in the gaps about the protocols or processes that should be used in case they have been harmed by the health crisis. By way of conclusion, we can argue that it was a process of knowledge and enriching for our future professional life, in which we learned a lot as future professionals and we were able to respond to the present needs.
