Abstract

This research project addresses the issue of everyday life, from the search for everyday objects that are usually unnoticed and are not recognized as important. Which are part of the context in which life unfolds, although at first glance it may not seem so. These objects assumed as normal, but which are part of the space, and to which have been attributed the oblivion that makes it difficult to see its essence and reality. In the nineteenth century, realistic painting is approached, both in art and in daily life, originating the need to represent the truth that can be changing, about society and the environment, there were several artists who used this artistic movement in the creation of their works. From the research project, emphasis is given mainly to everyday objects, with the search and selection of elements, which have a direct relationship and closeness to those who possess them, but in addition to this, they can be transferred to the pictorial media to give them value through art. In the first decades of the twentieth century, magical realism appears, which is characterized by leaving aside the exact representation of reality, and giving it a new meaning from the observation of the creator, to demonstrate the magic of being. The representation of daily life, from painting, has been approached from different perspectives and memories in the history of art. In contemporary art, artists have taken the theme of the everyday as a source of exploration and research in their artistic proposals. Taking into account everyday objects, from the experience in the discursive processes of the work of art, they originate from the proximity to them, which are developed in a personal or community environment. Thus, one of the main references is the analysis proposed by Heidegger, which shows that objects must cease to be seen from their function of utility and service, to show the truth that is hidden behind them, in order to break the everyday life that can become habitual. Within the context of the representation of objects, there are different artistic references throughout the history of art, an example mentioned in the project is Van Gogh, who relates a simple peasant's shoes, with new meanings from the experiences and the road traveled. The artistic proposal is developed from the oil painting technique, used from the Renaissance to the present, for its great versatility, application in different media and freedom of experimentation. An important characteristic of the artistic proposal is the support, which arises from everyday life, such as wooden fruit boxes, an object that leaves its useful function to become a container of stories and feelings. From the problematic of the investigation, as a result an artistic proposal will be created in which different objects found in the environment are represented, to give them a new meaning and reality, from the emotional value.
