Estrategias de intervención social del GAD de la parroquia La Peaña en la prevención de la inseguridad ciudadana

Abstract

This research work deals with the social intervention strategies of the GAD of the parish of La Peaña in the prevention of citizen insecurity. At present, insecurity has become a high-level problem, and therefore the research wanted to verify if security strategies have been implemented in place for the welfare of all the inhabitants living in the parish. For the development of the work, surveys were applied to the inhabitants of La Peaña, in addition to bibliographic content on the subject. The main objective was to establish the social intervention strategies of the GAD that have an impact on the prevention of citizen insecurity in the parish together with the analysis of information and the application of the instruments used for data collection and thus emphasize that the research is clear and real. The project was based on the hypothetical deductive approach, which focuses on the formulation of the main hypotheses through the statements that have to do with the verification of their validation. The quantitative methodological process was also applied since the research is based on numerical information for the collection of data that will be used to measure and explain the study of the research work. The survey to the inhabitants of La Peaña served to obtain the results of the field study and with it was possible to verify that in the place there are no strategies of social intervention in citizen security, a consequence that affects the tranquility of the inhabitants since in the area there is no good service or management by the parish GAD towards the national police to safeguard the welfare of the population of La Peaña. The intervention proposal to be implemented to solve the existing problem in the parish is the Design of social intervention strategies for the security and protection of the inhabitants of the parish of La Peaña, which will allow the relevant authorities in charge of the welfare of the inhabitants to integrate and take steps to integrate a solution to this social problem, thus providing a good coexistence and tranquility among the community.
