Abstract

In the following investigation corresponds to the practical part of the complex work, whose main objective is, Calculate the budget, based on unit prices using the polynomial formula for the project to improve the streets of the city Las Brisas sector 2, in the Canton Arenillas, Province of El Oro. We elaborated the analysis of direct and indirect costs, with the direct costs the unit price analysis, APU of each of the detailed items was carried out, with this the budget of the work was obtained and the respective price readjustment was applied with the help of the polynomial formula. The necessary number of people engaged in the different activities was determined by producing the type crew. The work schedule was executed using the Microsoft Office Project software, inserting the duration of each task, determining the activities and defining the predecessors. Then we proceed with the valued work schedule and the physical progress schedule where the progress curve is obtained and finally we make the equipment schedules, the labor and material schedules. It is essential to emphasize that schedules help us identify during which period which resource is in greatest demand. Carrying out these procedures helps us estimate the cost and term of the work to be built. To carry out the work, a term of 148 calendar days was obtained and a project budget of $802.616, 692 US dollars without IVA.
