Análisis técnico y económico de la bananera “san alfonso” del cantón el guabo, provincia de el oro.

Abstract

Technification is a fundamental part of a banana farm, the use of sensors, GPS tracking, and intelligent machinery are of the utmost importance. Investing in technology allows to obtain greater benefits in the long term for the useful life of the crop, it should be added that the monitoring of each activity in production is essential to be able to counteract any anomaly or error, resulting in a better intervention in the event of a problem and making appropriate economic and financial decisions. The results clearly show a great difference between a conventional and precision crop, although banana production in Ecuador is very pronounced because it is the second most exportable non-oil product, they do not have adequate technology in most haciendas or farms. . That is why the objective of the study is to analyze the technical and economic conditions of the "San Alfonso" farm located in the canton of El Guabo, province of El Oro. Through a non-experimental investigation, using the data collection method observational and interview type where it was found that the Hacienda "San Alfonso" belongs to the segment of small producers because it has only 16 ha of planted bananas, the implementation of technology or mechanism that allow the reduction of costs and working hours is almost nil, its production of 750 boxes allows for profits of 0.40 cents. for each pain invested in inputs, and number of workers used in different activities, which increase costs in a variable way depending on the stage of the crop and the climatic conditions.
