Abstract

This research raised as its main objective the elaboration of a system of activities based on the Baamboozle platform for strengthening the English vocabulary, owing to the teaching process is still harmed if some factors, such as: interest, interaction and comprehension, are not taken into account by the teacher. These factors are expected to be developed through the application of this research. The current study is based on a qualitative methodology, in a descriptive level, applying theoretical methods which allowed the analysis of the authors’ experiences that made possible the recognition of the research problem. By contrast, the use of empirical methods, such as: observation, field notes, teacher’s interview and the English vocabulary management rubric, eased the data gathering that was relevant for diagnosing the actual state of the 4th grade students of EGB of the school “Prof. Manuel Centeno Garzón”, in 2021. By the same token, a system of activities was applied to solve the educational needs, improving the learning process during a period of 3 lessons. Consequently, the results obtained were contrasted with the initial situation by the use of content analysis. To conclude, the raised pedagogical proposal of this research proved its effectiveness in the strengthening of English vocabulary, sustaining the importance to look into these interactive, platforms’ usefulness within this type of issues.
