Importancia del manual de funciones en el desempeño laboral de la industria Praive S.A. de la ciudad de Huaquillas, provincia de El Oro

Abstract

In this research work, the importance of the functions manual in the labor performance of the industry PRAIVE S.A. located in the city of Huaquillas, province of El Oro was studied. In order to collect the necessary data to serve as indicators that represent the role played by the functions manual within the company, surveys were used with closed-ended "dichotomous" questions and questions of conformity based on the "Lickert Scale". The data obtained through the surveys reflected a total lack of knowledge about the functionality and importance of a functions manual for the development of the activities of each of the links that comprise the industry PRAIVE S. A., important data were collected regarding the need to implement a manual of functions in the company since there are activities negatively affected in terms of the times established for the process and delivery date of the finished products, this due to the lack of knowledge of their tasks and responsibilities in their job. It was identified that the collaborators manage their responsibilities and functions within the company in an empirical way based on their personal experiences and technical training acquired previously, so that, if a daily problem arises or it is necessary to make a decision regarding an activity they are performing, the personnel must go for help to their immediate boss or to their colleagues, otherwise solve them by themselves, not knowing if the procedure applied was the correct one.
