PERIODISMO INVESTIGATIVO Y LOC: Análisis del reportaje ROMPIENDO EL SILENCIO del programa VISIÓN 360.

Abstract

The present investigation reflects on the Ecuadorian investigative journalism and tries to determine if this activity is developed under certain journalistic premises, like the verification and contrast of sources for the production of reports. An analysis is made of the report Rompiendo el Silencio, from the TV Visión 360 program broadcast by the Ecuadorian television network Ecuavisa, since 2014. The problem question starts from a simple observation of the reports of said program, with certain particular characteristics that the they differentiate from other media products, by generating in the viewer a series of reactions and behaviors regarding their content. The TV report enunciated meets the provisions of the Organic Law of Communication, article 22, which establishes that journalistic work requires an exercise of contrasting sources in order to provide the citizen with a verified and contextualized information narration? We try to give the answer with a content analysis, which seeks to determine not only meanings but the mode of production of the journalistic piece.
