El mural como medio de comunicación entre la pandemia y la corrupción política que vive el pueblo ecuatoriano

Abstract

In this practical and investigative work, the objective or purpose is to transmit a message to the public with this theme "MURALISM IN TIMES OF PANDEMIC." The Mexican muralism was the one that came to give this great impact due to its strong messages towards the corrupt capitalists and politicians of that country, in addition to that several artists will meet who gave life to this movement and gave a great change to the plastic arts and visuals, from where it originated. In the Renaissance it can be said that the muralism occurred there, since at that time they painted the walls of the chapels or the ceilings with religious figures, they started from there only that they did not have that objective that the viewer criticizes the work or that the artist defends his concept, it is there where little by little this movement began, as time went by, each time art was evolving or taking another course in different branches of art. It will not only be based on what the mural is, but also on the pandemics that people have suffered around the world, this topic, apart from being artistic, also leads to research on pests and diseases suffered by human beings, since from there You can observe the government's measures and how they have left each country, only in Latin America you cannot say good things. In the case of Ecuador it was different, since the president did not opt ​​for restriction measures in advance due to the problem of the economy and that is why this problem occurred. In Ecuador, some artists also showed their faces who left their works on some walls of the country such as Guayasamín and among other Ecuadorian artists. After the in-depth investigations, it will be about carrying out the practical work, which must take different methodologies to see the reaction of the viewer who will see the work. This proposal contains some elements, which will give that meaning of arrogance since the mural is a means of communication, so that people who are traveling or walking will realize what is reflected on the wall, but it will represent the current state through which the equator is living. With the theme of this pandemic, the space of a wall which overlooks the street was used and also with research on the history of muralism and the covid pandemic. They are very relevant issues since not only the covid is our only killer, so are the politicians by not organizing a plan well so that people respect the prevention measures, they only dedicated themselves to abusing and increasing salaries and the muralism will tell all that history through representation, the great muralists and those who created this movement did so for the purposes of controversy or to claim the rights of a state, equality, also to uncover corrupt governments, but for this to be done there must always be a clear investigation and precise.
