Propuesta de puente peatonal de presforzado sobre la avenida 25 de junio a la altura del intercambiador el bananero

Abstract

The wide busy roads create a problem for pedestrians who need to cross it, submitting to the risk of being run over. The problem increases as there is a roundabout nearby where traffic congestion occurs and the low culture of the drivers makes it worse. An acceptable solution to facilitate mobility and safety for pedestrians is the construction of pedestrian bridges. This work presents the design of the superstructure of a pedestrian bridge, located on Avenida 25 de Junio at the height of the El Bananero interchange between Importadora Tomebamba S.A. and PALMARKET, in the city of Machala, with the intention of solving traffic problems between pedestrians and vehicles. The prestressed concrete superstructure was designed based on current standards and regulations that contribute to structural functionality and performance. The result of the design was represented in the architectural and structural plans.
