Análisis del procedimiento constructivo de un muro de protección de una obra portuaria

Abstract

The present work is aimed at analyzing the construction process of a protection wall, focusing specifically on the process of construction of a dike on the slope with breakwater material through the realization of bibliographical research, taking into account that this type of projects are carried out both maritimely and terrestrially. We must be clear about the purpose for which it is decided to carry out this type of project, there are places where the strong waves due to extreme climatic conditions at certain times of the year, make it considerably difficult both in seaports and in tourist places, thus affecting trade and the development of the regions in which these phenomena are present. A breakwater dam aims to prevent strong sea currents from affecting the structures of seaports, in addition they prevent the passage of large waves thus minimizing the risk that these cause along the coastline where these huge energy sinks are located, they also help to avoid the sediment that is dragged by the sea currents either , to the beaches or to the seaports reducing the environmental and visual pollution that these sediments generate and thus be able to boost tourism, trade, development, etc., achieving that the economic one can flow without any inconvenience.
