Abstract

Gender violence or also known as physical, psycho-emotional, psychological, patrimonial, sexual, and economic violence has a social impact on all generations and the subjective effects that arise in women who experience gender violence by their partner establishing a violation of women's rights as well as their personal safety, and any discriminatory conduct, action, omission, disposition, criterion or practice that puts women at a disadvantage compared to men. It is evident that whoever carries out gender violence does not distinguish between the idealization of the partner and the concept that exists around being a woman based on patriarchal precepts that forces women to comply with certain social guidelines and by not doing so, the The discomfort that is lodged in their bodies, also highlights that violence in the couple has become normalized, in a culture like ours, the subordination of women predominates and even when they are victims they are blamed for the same violence they have received. Through the case analysis study, an investigation was carried out on the subjective effects in women who experience gender violence by their partner. It is proposed that qualitative research rescues the importance of subjectivity, assumes it, and is the guarantor, as well as the vehicle through which knowledge of human reality is achieved. Knowledge is a social product, a shared creation and its production process is traversed and influenced by the values of the subjects who build it. Therefore, the intersubjective immersion in the reality that one wants to know, through which it is possible to understand its internal logic. The subsequent work was carried out with the help of the qualitative method that consists of collecting data to carry out a specific investigation. After indicating the research information, the techniques and instruments such as the semi-structured interview and the free association of ideas technique for the collection of information are determined, it is more flexible, it begins with questions that can be adapted to the answers of the interviewees. The semi-structured interview was applied to a 33-year-old woman who experiences gender violence by her partner. In this interview some indicators such as fear, anxiety, stress, support networks were observed. The interview guide was carried out around the aspects mentioned above (family history, dating, domestic violence and stages of change), delving into facts that were considered relevant in the session. Said interview guide was carried out based on the revised theory, and was analyzed before being applied.
