Repercusiones del poder, violencia y abuso sexual en el rendimiento escolar de los infantes por medios tecnológicos

Abstract

Power is considered as a capacity of domination, conviction and manipulation that a person has over another individual for his benefit, as a result of this we have abuse, mistreatment and violence in different environments. In addition, it can be mentioned, according to national statistics obtained from a study carried out in different educational institutions, that one in four girls and one in six boys have suffered ill-treatment, physical, verbal, psychological violence and one of the most important problems worldwide, is child sexual abuse, it should be noted that the aforementioned causes subsequently cause difficulties and complications in the cognitive, social and emotional development of the infant. With regard to this situation that many children are going through, the present research project aimed to determine the repercussions of power, violence and sexual abuse by technological means on school-age infants in the face of low academic performance. The methodology used was a descriptive literature review, based on scientific articles and journals. According to the research, it was possible to observe the lack of support and prevention networks in these extremely important situations. Finally, as a recommendation I could indicate how relevant it is the presence of a mental health professional and family members to prevent and treat abuse in time, so that in the short or long term it does not have great repercussions on children and thus do not originate in them different pathologies.
