Análisis económico del transporte eléctrico dentro de la ciudad de Machala.

Abstract

Through this research work, we seek to highlight the importance of electric transport in the economy of the city of Machala. The growing consumption and use of this type of innovative transport becomes a variable of important analysis, both at the global, national and local levels; That is why it is sought to establish a relationship between the performance of this variable with the possible impact it has on the economy, since it is shown as a sustainable alternative to the use of combustion vehicles. For the analysis, a quantitative methodology has been used, which seeks to present the data in a clear and concise way for the analysis through tables and graphs, which have been obtained from official sources such as the Association of Automotive Companies of Ecuador (AEADE) , National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC), among others. With the data obtained and the review of the literature, it can be highlighted that the acquisition of electric vehicles is a tangible reality, due to the fact that their importation has increased in recent years; On the other hand, in the city of Machala, tests of its application have been carried out, which have yielded positive results, which shows the viability of a project that can benefit citizens and improve the local economy with it.
