Abstract

Photography stands out as part of the documentary heritage, since it is composed of two elements: the informative content of the image and the support on which it is recorded, which allow us to know the diversity of cultures, forming an essential part of both memory and cultural heritage. Likewise, photography has acquired value over the years as proof of realities that in many cases have been lost, therefore, this tool contributes to the recovery and preservation of past events and the retention of history through the photographic image. The present investigation has as objective to demonstrate the photographic culture by means of the use of the old and current digital photos of the real estate of the cantonal head of Pasaje for the development and valorization of the photography as cultural Patrimony, the purpose is to give value to the photographic cultural tourism, that the photographic shots are not only directed and observed by the tourism of nature, in addition to the value that photography has and how it can be considered a photographic heritage since it is part of cultural tourism, taking into account that there is little value in society with respect to this topic since it is not offered as a tourist product, so it has not become the motivation of tourists to visit those places that have historical value. The contributions for the investigation were made through bibliographic sources and through surveys directed to the community, tourists, tourist companies and governance of the Canton Pasaje to obtain accurate and efficient data. For this reason, the analytical method was used because through the results obtained from the observation cards, each property can be analyzed with its respective photograph, using the mixed approach due to the data obtained as quantitative and qualitative through the surveys. In virtue of the above, the project tries to expose the importance of photography based on bibliographic documents to support the research and to be able to perform the in situ, where you can capture images of the real estate of the cantonal head of the canton of Pasaje for the respective analysis of the historical, aesthetic and religious value that can express the image through the authenticity in each photograph and for this the observation sheet will be made and even identify the authors that promote photographic tourism through culture. The results show that there is positivism to photographic cultural tourism, which is of great contribution to the canton that allows business source and that the Governance is interested in relation to give value to the real estate, in addition to the fact that with the help of the image allows the tourist to be interested and move to the place to visit it, allowing the community to intertwine link by the exchange of knowledge. This research will allow the other generations to be interested in relation to the real estate after taking photographs, that each city has its value and that as such it should not be lost but conversed and transmitted, photography has had to go through processes of changes that are demonstrated in the images of those times, besides that it will allow the other generations to learn about the history of cultural heritage through photographic images giving value and enhancement to the events of the past.
