Diseño de un programa con contenido educativo ambiental que modifique la relación entre hombre naturaleza en Yacuviñay Natural Reserve.

Abstract

For there to be a better correlation between nature and man, it is important to have a broad knowledge of environmental education based on the axes of sustainability in different natural spaces where ecotourism is practised. For this reason, the project will be carried out in the Yacuviñay Natural Reserve Forest in the Paccha parish of the Atahualpa canton with the aim of generating responsibility in the community regarding the interest of nature and the behaviour of man towards the preservation and care of this resource. The present work was born due to the current environmental problems caused by the hand of man, since in recent years it has been observed how the earth has been degraded, more than previous years, this is due to the lack of conscience of human beings, so it is the call to the communities to promote personal and community interest in preserving the environment with small actions such as reforestation and taking care of the water. The elaboration of the integrative project has been possible thanks to the help and predisposition of the owners of the Yacuviñay Natural Reserve Forest, who were a fundamental part in providing information, and the predisposition of their valuable time to carry out different activities inside and outside the forest, such as the collection of seeds through volunteers and seeds donated by the prefecture, which felt the need to carry out reforestation inside the forest, due to the great loss of native flora, caused by the bad practice of cattle ranching in the areas surrounding the forest. The objective of this project is to propose a programme with environmental educational content where GEP (Good Environmental Practices) is applied in the Yacuviñay Natural Reserve Forest that modifies the relationship between man and nature through audiovisual workshops, invitations to mingas and recreational activities such as hiking, bird watching, oriented towards tourists who visit the site with families composed of children, young people and adults. The methodological basis on which the project is based is bibliographical, as it is based on the search for knowledge of the different topics proposed in the research based on different authors, in order to verify the importance of nature for society. The importance of this project lies in the preservation of the environment, in the knowledge of the EA through the different points raised in this programme, and the preservation of the Yacuviñay Natural Reserve Forest, which goes hand in hand with the tourist promotion of the place, making it attractive due to the awareness that the development and application of the GHPs will generate in the context of nature tourism or ecotourism. The project ends with the drawing of conclusions and recommendations based on the experiences of the implementation of the proposal, thus developing a better perspective of how fundamental it is to safeguard and protect the environment, from the youngest to the oldest members of the household.
