Agroturismo como alternativa del desarrollo turístico para los cantones del El Guabo y Pasaje.

Abstract

Agrotourism is an opportunity for reactivation for rural areas, this set offers people from urban areas a unique and incomparable adventure, allowing tourists to leave their comfort zone and visit tourist places far from the city. In this way, it can be shown as an alternative to promote tourism in El Guabo and Pasaje in order to take advantage of the natural and agricultural resources of the cantons. The work that has been carried out aims to promote its development through agrotourism activity in the conditions and activities that the cantons and parishes focus on with nature and agriculture, which may be feasible to implement tourism. The execution of the project was carried out through mixed research, having a quantitative and qualitative approach, in addition to making use of the descriptive method, which served to know the reality of the farms and their characteristics, thus observation sheets were also used, with which it was possible to verify the state of conservation of the sites, and surveys directed to the inhabitants, to know the opinion about the proposal. The farms that have been selected meet the necessary parameters to carry out the route, being a total of 11, of which 6 belong to the El Guabo canton, and 5 from the Pasaje canton. In these different activities are carried out, such as sowing or tasting the fruits, with which certain products are made, such as chocolate or banana cakes. Another point to highlight is the environmental dimension, so it will be important to implement educational talks about the environment and its care in natural areas. The surveys were carried out to determine the preferences of tourists, in order to carry out all activities where they enjoy both the environment and free time to enjoy all the farms in a different way. Therefore, the alternative of the tourist route is of great importance because most visitors prefer environmental spaces due to the little pollution that exists, in addition, due to a pandemic, they choose places with little influx of people to avoid contagion, In addition to this, the farms to visit maintain biosecurity standards to maintain caution and protect them during their visit, so it is vital to maintain and respect the space of each one, since it is necessary to maintain order and avoid any inconvenience that affects the care and preservation of the farms. The main objective of the work called "AGROTURISM AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR TOURIST DEVELOPMENT IN THE CANTONES EL GUABO AND PASAJE" has as its main objective the design of an agrotourism route in the cantons El Guabo and Pasaje. in a great alternative for growth, in addition to bringing great benefits to its inhabitants, which contributes to the social, economic and environmental sphere of the province.
