El arte objeto como medio artístico crítico sobre salud educativa en tiempos de pandemia

Abstract

The present artistic work called "Art and educational health in times of pandemic" alludes to the time we are currently living in which covid 19 has caused millions of deaths around the world, bringing with it the total confinement of all cities, isolation , restrictions and biosafety measures to try to safeguard the lives of citizens, in this situation art has not been left behind and has been able to adapt in this new modality because thanks to technological tools it has been possible to hold virtual exhibitions in around this problem, seeking to generate an impact on society, allowing many artists to express their various points of view, emotions, feelings and, above all, the situations through which they have had to live with their family and friends in their quarantine. In addition, to make a contribution regarding this situation, the outstanding nominated Instagram platform was created The Covid Art Museum among other tools that stand out in this pandemic, where each artist at an international level has the opportunity to participate with works of any genre showing that art can arise in any shape and space. The intention of the work is to resort to innovative tools, leaving aside traditional schemes and bases, seeking to experiment with various contemporary styles such as object art where the artist is given the freedom to create various works from objects found throughout around us or in the environment where it develops, thus giving it a new meaning. The result of this investigative work results in the creation of an artistic proposal in times of pandemic, in this way we start from the creation of several sublimated masks with photographs of different events that have occurred throughout the year 2020-2021 in this pandemic that hits the whole world and Ecuador, making the problem known. It should be noted that the objective of the work is to make use of object art as a foundation for artistic representation, contributing to society in terms of the importance of educational health and to the world of art in terms of new ways of creating. This is how it is considered that educational health today influences human behavior, because thanks to this a range of biosafety measures and standards have been generated to keep us alert to this disease that is causing many deaths around the world due to not abiding by the standards established by the WHO World Health Organization which is the body in charge of preventing diseases and improving the quality of life of the entire population, therefore it is a privilege that such an organization exists at this time since that in past centuries were hit by pandemics such as the Spanish flu, this black flu, smallpox that, not having the technology and above all an adequate educational health, perished from the aforementioned diseases.
