La gestión municipal frente a la degradación ambiental en el sitio El Palmal del cantón Balsas

Abstract

This paper addresses the competencies of the decentralized autonomous government of Balsas, which, when regulated, defines its actions, provides the competent authority with legal authorization to ensure strict compliance with its inhabitants, strengthens the actions of a public administration co-responsible with the consolidation of good living, and the People have an unalienable right to coexist in a healthy environment. The objective is to determine how municipal management infers on environmental degradation at the site of El Palmal in the Balsas canton; Under this, the question was raised; Why does municipal management get in the way of environmental degradation? This context leads to position the importance of the protection, care, and improvement of the environment. Human activities are a deciding factor in environmental causes; For this reason, an equivocal action generates a negative impact that denotes the degradation of the environment causing losses of tropical forests, grasslands, biodiversity of local areas, contamination of hydrographic basins, rivers, and cultivable soils; added to the predominant pollution factors in the rural sector emerging from processes of type: industrial, agricultural, agricultural, clinical, among others; that by not having adequate planning, administration, compliance with the norm, they show results that are detrimental to the environment.
