Fundamentación de investigación sobre violencia de género desde el trabajador social en el consejo cantonal de protección de Pasaje

Abstract

Violence is currently one of the social problems that mostly affects the Ecuadorian population, in this sense, gender violence is one of the ways in which it can manifest itself and is the one that has the greatest visibility given that the lack of protection of this type of situations it usually leads to homicidal or femicidal acts. Efforts have been diverse to reduce and eradicate these forms of violence, from the State to the general public: social movements, NGOs, foundations, etc .; achieving the creation of laws that protect with greater emphasis those who are violated in most cases, that is, girls, boys and adolescents. However, the numbers of aggressions, mutilations and murders continue to increase, so it is necessary to study the factors that influence this reality and propose accurate strategies for their eradication or reduction. That is why the present research work has been carried out with the objective of describing the influence between research and gender violence in the Cantonal Council of Pasaje Protection from the perspective of Social Work using a qualitative approach through the compilation of bibliographic information and its subsequent analysis, which allows the development of a timely proposal, which allows to prevent the problem and prevent the degradation of existing cases.
