Abstract

Human beings are the result of their feelings, thoughts, and actions that occur around them, which is why the humanistic approach was created to treat the subject globally. Thus, Social Work applies this approach to its intervention, giving prominence to the social subject, providing them with the necessary tools to overcome their issues, through the empowerment of their reality and the acknowledgment of their abilities and skills, to change the state of need; accompanied by the process suggested by the humanistic approach. To achieve their desired wellbeing. This work was carried out based on a mixed methodology (deductive-bibliographic), where information was obtained from journals and academic platforms; aiming at the influence of the humanistic approach in the intervention of the social worker, in the perspective of the fulfillment of the principles of the approach, as a result of not applying the latter in the actions with the subject, it would not be embracing the main rights of the person, for this reason, it could not achieve complete social welfare of the user.
