Diagnostico social como instrumento de identificación de necesidades socio educativas para mejorar el ejercicio profesional docente

Abstract

This research work is carried out with the purpose of highlighting the importance of social diagnosis as an instrument for identifying socio-educational needs to improve professional teaching, through the compilation of bibliographic information. It is also pertinent to describe the characteristics of the social diagnosis considering that it is an instrument that allows giving meaning to the profession of Social, given that its purpose is to refer detailed information about events or phenomena in the social area, which implies rigor and effectiveness, to direct actions with a comprehensive approach and empowering people who require the satisfaction of needs. On the other hand, from the educational level, it is intended to identify the socio-educational needs from the perspective of the intervention of Social Work, these understand the importance of interaction and participation, between the educational community, as a socio-educational system that allows understanding the daily practice that is developed in terms of the improvement of prevention, adaptation or inclusion strategies and processes. Therefore, the socio-educational needs are anticipated from the complexity that exists between the cognitive adaptation of the student and the methodologies applied from the teacher's intervention. The development of this document is carried out from a qualitative study, where the information collected from scientific articles, pertinent to the most relevant categories, is analyzed and described. Finally, the formulation of the stages of execution of the social diagnosis is proposed based on the socio-educational needs identified as an instrument of intervention of the Social Work professional.
