Abstract

This research document is dedicated to the analysis of "The importance of youth political participation in the vindication of human rights in the city of Machala 2021". At present, youth movements are essential for the development and growth of the Machalean youth, because it allows them to increase their critical thinking and be participants in political spaces where they find a place in order to express their positions to the traditional system and the distrust of the actions of parties, showing indifference to acts of corruption by political actors, linking them with unethical actions; For this reason, they acquire a commitment in their desire to create groups that show interest or attachment to vindicate human, civil and political rights that have been violated in the environment that surrounds them and society in general. According to his perception at present, the new social struggles allow young people to develop social, ethical and moral positions that allow them to understand and interpret reality, however, it is possible to identify that not all young people can access political spaces with ease, since they have limited access to political parties that for several years have developed a conservative and traditionalist guideline, which has kept young people from participating in political spaces, conditioning them by their lack of experience in the field, denying them thus the opportunity to take part in political and social activities. The main objective of the following research is to establish what are the characteristics that determine the political and social participation of young people, through mixed research techniques for the interpretation of the transcendence in the claim of human rights in the city of Machala. Taking into account that the research to be carried out will be able to identify what type of political and social movements are linked to the struggle for the vindication of human rights, developing pertinent strategies in order to encourage the youth population to participate in the struggle to claim human rights. rights that have been violated. The methodological and epistemological approach of the research is of a mixed quantitative-qualitative, empirical inductive nature with research instruments such as the interview and the survey, the application of these information gathering instruments will help to construct valid conclusions at the end of this research, resulting in a scientific knowledge of the object of study. The result obtained from the research will allow us to understand the behavior of young people and the characteristics of the mechanisms that allow participation in decision-making that promote the resolution of problems that affect the collective good as the proposal seeks to awaken in the young people the desire to participate in issues of social interest, in addition to the decisions made regarding the management of public resources, becoming the main actors in pressuring politicians to make better decisions.
