Abstract

At present the development of artificial intelligence has evolved constantly due to the great technological advances that have been presented thanks to the support of large technology companies, which have developed the different types of learning that artificial intelligence has which allow develop new knowledge or make decisions without the supervision of a human being, all these advances are already part of our lives and we can see them daily on a smartphone, video games, computers or personal assistants as in the case of Siri and in later years they suggests that artificial intelligence can perform the same tasks as a human being. For companies, customer service is the most important thing, it is for this main reason that most companies are opting for the use of chatbots, such as virtual assistants, sales agents, customer service, etc., which are based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, this means that they are constantly learning, its main function is that it is always available and provides a personalized one to the user as if he were interacting with a human being. In this project, a virtual assistant will be developed that will show the information about the master's degrees offered by the Technical University of Machala, which will be based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, using the Mindmeld platform that allows the analysis, understanding, and processing of natural language Through the separation of words in the conversations, a knowledge base will be created which will be made up of domains and intentions, where the information is stored so that the virtual assistant learns automatically and can comply with the request made by the user in a correct, it also allows the generation of natural language, which helps to convert the machine language to text so that the user can understand and for the development of the web page that will allow the interaction between the user and the virtual assistant, Frameworks will be used such as React and Flask using the Python programming language.
