Percepción visual en el proceso de iniciación a la lecto escritura en preparatoria

Abstract

Visual perception is of great importance in the learning process of reading and writing because children receive stimuli from the text through sight. The main function of the visual system is to perceive all objects from the outside, therefore, it must function correctly, since the child with a visual disability will have learning difficulties. Most children when entering school must have maturity in the development of visual perception, the same ones that become necessary to start with reading and writing. However, some of them have not managed to achieve this ability, therefore, they have complications to learn how to read and write correctly. The present research set the objective to show the influence of visual perception in the process of initiation to reading writing in kindergarten, it was carried out through the bibliographic analysis of several scientific articles concerning the subject, based on qualitative methodology with a descriptive character. The rationale behind this research arises from the need to make theoretically known the importance of visual perception in learning.
