Abstract

This document presents the process carried out for the programming and cost determination of the sanitary sewer work in the Mariscal Sucre sector of the city of Machala, with which it seeks to provide an essential basic service to the citizens of the sector, elaborating an efficient planning and realization of budget. In the present project of which, from the respective APU analysis of unit prices, the required budget was estimated, checks costs of each item and the total cost of the work to be executed, the polynomial formula to accurately estimate the total cost of the work and which is mandatory in every work to make price adjustments if necessary, the crew type, and schedules of physical progress, work valuation, use of labor, equipment and materials from Microsoft Project software, With which both the contractor and the inspector are allowed to have an efficient control of the work due to the use of bar graphs and percentages in the schedules because they are didactic and presented graphically, all this trying to carry out planning efficient in terms of execution time and costs of the work, by placing activities in such a way that resources, materials, labor and equipment are used, respecting the construction process involved in carrying out a sewerage work in the local environment.
