Abstract

The present research work focuses on the case analysis to describe the psychological evaluation process in order to formulate the hypothesis, it is necessary to review scientific articles, which allow to verify the diagnostic presumption assigned by means of the symptoms of the case and if the It is coupled within psychological disorders or are the result of substance use or some disease. For this, it is necessary to check if the different symptoms of R meet the hypotheses raised according to the diagnostic criteria of the DSM-V, for the psychological evaluation process in the case of R, the technique to be applied is the semi-structured interview, being the most appropriate since it allows greater interaction between the interviewer and the subject, facilitating communication to obtain data about the complaints that cause discomfort. Based on the analysis of the hypotheses for psychological disorders related to Anxiety, Depression and Panic, instruments are applied that guarantee reliability and validity, among them we have: the Hamilton anxiety scale, Beck's inventory and the abbreviated panic disorder questionnaire These instruments will help us to confirm or rule out the presumptive diagnosis. The analysis of the case allows us to identify Panic Disorder and Major Depression as a presumptive diagnosis, based on the diagnostic criteria of the DSM V and its evaluation with various psychological techniques.
