Abstract

Environmental pollution is a problem of great importance at a global level since it is in continuous development and acts causing damage to both human health and the ecosystem, which affects biodiversity. Environmental pollution is produced by the composition and various chemical components. Therefore, there is an environmental code to provide protocols to avoid contamination of the environment and protect the ecosystem. The purpose of our study is to identify the main air pollutants and their health conditions, which causes a polluted environment and how to reduce pollution levels by reviewing literature and scientific articles. An analytical investigation was carried out for the collection of the main atmospheric pollutants, and the identification of the main diseases of a contaminated ecosystem and what types of recommendations should be applied to reduce the contamination of the ecosystem. The data obtained through analyzed articles suggest that environmental pollution is a factor that affects globally causing diseases in human health and also acts by deteriorating biodiversity. Therefore, it is concluded that it is of vital importance to raise awareness, train and inform people about the consequences and effects of being exposed to a contaminated place.
