El arte en las redes sociales en tiempos de pandemia, una propuesta desde el surrealismo

Abstract

Art throughout history has shown us a series of artistic dynamics marked by its own references in its different concepts, contexts and conventional forms; this artistic evolution has always gone hand in hand with the social and technological changes that keep art in constant evolution. This timeline, commonly known as art, will always respond to new manifestations and innovative disciplines, allowed by our actions and our decisions. At present we live a global transformation in all sense, that from the point of view of the art suffers another impact because of these circumstances; already in their time they were it as: the Black Plague in 1353 and the Smallpox in 1977 and that from this point, these topics return to take protagonism in the art as well as at present, but with other characteristics that led us the social isolation and permanent confinement. In the face of this, the artistic proposal through painting that is present in the investigation, clearly raises two points that float during the pandemic and that take a direct form a significant change as is the art and technology. Art has taken a new direction because of this global problem and is involved in very indispensable resources such as technology. A new period for art is born where all artistic manifestations begin to become transcendent, alien to the traditional and historical, and this episode is demonstrated as a very creative way to adapt to the new normality. Although we know, technology also takes over this modern world and because of the isolation by the pandemic the activities of the human being change totally, where this resource becomes the first plane of a daily life altered by this new normality; it is there then, where the art also has found some very creative forms to adapt demonstrating a series of imaginaries that emphasize many times the emotional state that the human being lives because of this confinement and where it is tried to use a technological perfection by means of diverse platforms. Hence, it is important to address this approach that we make to the current situation of the human being, so that, taking these new concepts and new artistic proposals we focus on finding a purpose to the situation that society lives, and from this point we contemplate and analyze these emotional states that man lives daily. Without a doubt, this research results in the artistic proposal that gives the possibility of studying the emotional states that the human being constantly goes through through the confinement because of the pandemic and how these affect women directly, demonstrating a different and uncommon reality, using the discipline of painting with the style of surrealism, which within this research serves as a means to metaphorize the reality about isolation through the pandemic. For a better understanding the present artistic research has been divided into four chapters: chapter one, refers to the conceptualization and contextualization of the work; that is to say, from the theoretical and historical base the work of the new spaces and forms of making art through technology is supported. Chapter two, mentions the definition of the work, this statement already defines the genre of the work and is based on the object of study and its relevance. Chapter three, is based on the whole process of artistic production from the graphic approaches to the final presentation of the artistic proposal. And finally, chapter four refers to the critical discourse of the proposal; that is, the objective that this product seeks in the context that represents it, its contributions and its meditation.
