Abstract

The purpose of this essay is to publicize community Social Work and its intervention in the face of the problems presented by the residents of the neighborhood in the county of the city of Machala, due to the unhealthiness caused by the existence of a sewage channel, bringing I get serious consequences due to the lack of interest of local governments in this situation, which affects mainly the health of children, young people and the elderly. In addition to putting in poor condition both the streets and the homes of the residents, violating the right to have a decent life. Community Social Work creates groups in action within communities, for this it first trains people in social interaction, which consists of the individual developing skills to interact and thus be able to perform as a citizen. On the other hand, it organizes communities capable of diagnosing collective problems and in this way they can face them.
