Abstract

The present research work that constitutes the case study and the role played by THE SOCIAL WORKER IN THE PROTECTION OF RIGHTS FOR THE RETIREMENT PROCESS OF THE MARCABELI MUNICIPAL GAD OFFICIALS, establishes an important contribution to the role that a labor professional should play social, in the accompaniment of vulnerable social groups such as the elderly who choose to retire, hence the need to carry out this work The general objective set; Analyze the role of social workers in the protection of rights in workers who opt for the retirement plan in the Municipal GAD of the canton Marcabelí, in which it is considered necessary to establish the precepts, and legal, constitutional and municipal rights that allow The workers obtain the retirement plan in the Municipal GAD of Marcabelí, and establish in the short and long term the professional and practical activities of this practical case. The theoretical framework is framed in theoretical and scientific guidelines that social work professionals meet, the reality of the social, economic and cultural situation, as well as current legislation. The methodology corresponds to a case study, the same one whose purpose is to describe the accompaniment of the social worker, so that the legitimate right to adhere to the Law and human rights is acted upon. Finally, the successful development of the proposal is presented as conclusions, in relation to the procedure for the retirement of GAD officials.
