Aprovechamiento sostenible del recurso hídrico de la subcuenca Río Casacay para abastecimiento de agua en Machala, El Guabo y Pasaje

Abstract

The Casacay River Sub-basin supplies water resources to large agricultural areas including bananas and important cities in the province of El Oro, natural resources that have been taken advantage of over time, due to the anthropic activities of the human being; That is why our proposal is whether the cantons of Machala, Pasaje and El Guabo are carrying out the corresponding actions for the sustainable and efficient use of the Sub-basin based on providing an adequate quality of life for all the beneficiaries thereof without affecting or compromising Current capacity The short and long-term measures focus on the sustainable development of the sub-basin, which are intended to meet the needs of the present, without compromising the needs of future generations; This implies properly managing the water resource, providing the vital fluid available, to the entire population. The importance of this work is to see if the entire population of the 3 cantons enjoys this resource either in quality and quantity in an optimal way. Taking into account that for the realization of this work, all the information existing in the different repositories, books, articles referring to the study area was collected and analyzed and it is presented in an index of quality and environmental quantity to measure the degree of affectation presented.
