PIB enfoque de la producción en el Ecuador: análisis econométrico desde el modelo de regresión logarítmico, período 2007-2017.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the incidence of GDP from the focus of gross production factors, intermediate consumption and net taxes in Ecuador during the period 2007-2017. In the first instance, a study of the relevant theory is carried out on the variables that are part of the function of GDP production according to the Central Bank of Ecuador (ECB). GDP_prod= Pb-Ci + Imp1 is defined. Using this function, a multiple logarithmic econometric model was applied to measure the degree of relationship of the variables. The results obtained show that gross production has an important impact on the growth of GDP in the Ecuadorian economy, therefore, it is necessary to continue applying economic policies aimed at the investment of the productive sectors of final goods to raise economic growth.
