Abstract

Today there are many companies that have been able to stay in the market, due to the planning techniques and business strategies they have used, not for nothing there are so many developed methodologies, which, using scientific bases are able to provide the best results; Well, these are constantly applied in the business market. The pharmaceutical industry for years has taken great importance in society, because thanks to the service it provides it manages to meet very important needs for the human being. But it should be noted that in the social environment it not only covers the demands and needs of man, but also contributes to the economic growth of the country. Therefore, it is possible to place this industry among those that contribute most to the growth and development of the country. This report requires knowing the maximum benefit that can be obtained with the development of a certain number of pills, which must be governed by a certain group of restrictions where the weight and number of pills is determined. The total weight of the drug to be used is 600g, which should be made at least 3 large tablets and twice as small tablets, 40 and 30 g respectively. The resolution of this exercise is carried out using the methodology of linear programming, encompassed in operations research.
