Abstract

In the present case study called “Analysis of the risks associated with the handling of goods and security measures to avoid logistic incidents”, the main factors related to transport logistics and cargo mobilization are theoretically based. This also emphasizes determining the main logistic risks that are linked to the handling and transfer of the merchandise. In addition, a series of recommendations on security measures are proposed to mitigate and reduce the logistical risks that endanger the cargo, causing loss of money, time and human efforts, harming the actors in the process. The objective of this investigation is to determine what are the logistical risks in the processes of loading, filling, mobilization and shipment of goods, and in turn establish the security measures to counteract these risks. For the solution of this case the analytical method was applied, to analyze several components related to the subject, and in addition a documentary exploration was made in sources such as scientific journals, thesis, scientific studies and other bibliographical sources to make an absolute recognition of information on the topic.
