Análisis del consumidor y desarrollo del ecoturismo en los cantones El Guabo, Machala y Pasaje.

Abstract

Ecotourism is an activity derived from tourism but with a greater commitment to environmental and cultural preservation, given its importance to society, it has been promoted and has become more relevant for the different national and international organizations. In the cantons of El Guabo, Machala, Pasaje there are several ecotourism destinations that allow the development of native inhabitants, however the level of development of the service is different; That is why we sought to respond to the problem of how the image, geographic location and quality of services affect the ecotourism sector in the north of the province of El Oro. The research is carried out with the objective of developing a plan integral through the analysis of the consumer of services of the ecotourism sector for the justification of the progress of this business in the northern sector of the province of El Oro. A descriptive methodology was applied, the bibliographic review, survey, interview and direct observation were used to To gather information, From the results obtained it was known that the destinations comply at a high level with the regulations for operation as ecotourism attractions, customers show an acceptable level of satisfaction but not enough for them to prefer local destinations, and that progress the sector ensures if an infrastructure improvement plan and a plan are prepared of awareness of society. In addition, it was proposed to improve the image as the main factor that determines the success for ecotourism.
