El arte una interpretación sensible de las historias de mendicidad

Abstract

Today we have an art totally amplified in its forms of representation and in its types of discourse. We have the most complex or simple ways to issue an idea, whether critical or personal so much so that we can reach different audiences with one and it is not necessary to attach to academicism.Unlike classical art, in which everyday events were narrated and it was not until the first critical and expressive ways of making art appeared that we began to contemplate it as a narrator of all kinds of facts, in this case a social problem such as is begging, thus presenting the artist as a rapporteur in his work. It is then that art meddles in other fields of study, thus making it an excellent weapon of protest or manifesto that is able to reach the public and invite it to be part of the cause, as is the case of this work, where protagonists converge, artists and audience, thus achieving a dynamic atmosphere of situations that deserve to be documented. Experimentation is one of the qualities of the contemporary artist, that is, not only seeks criticism or judgments, but invites the public to interact with their work, as it is in the case of this arts research project where the viewer is invited to in to become aware and to sensitize with the work, achieving a sea of ideas and senses that give value to artistic work. In this type of art a lot the subject to be dealt with, there are various problems to which to give sustenance and scientifically research to create a proposal that meets all the ingredients described above, the artist must be curious and very ingenious to time to search the information and data for your work, as in this case it is.It was necessary to carry out a previous fieldwork which took place in the streets of the city of Machala, collecting all kinds of stories of beggars and experiences about these kinds of problems that have trapped a significant number of individuals, who possess countless stories and anecdotes that gave an important feature to this artistic proposal. Thanks to this set of elements it was possible to create a work of art that relates, invites the public to know in depth the experiential conflict that overwhelms this vulnerable sector of the public, sensitizing its thoughts and allowing to collect all kinds of observations and thoughts as participants in this artistic exhibition. The result of this research is to publicize the experiences of those who are not taken into account that go unnoticed, those who are only part of the statistic at the time of campaigning.Begging is considered an unrest within society but for those who live it is a constant struggle to survive all adversity before, all these aspects are considered in the artistic proposal who live it narrate their experiences, touch us and opens a space for us to meditate.
