Abstract

The present investigation is oriented to the Strengthening of the community social organization, of the citadel El Nazareno canton Santa Rosa, year 2018. The problem that arises in the territory lies in the actions of the Neighborhood Council, as it is the central axis that promotes the well-being of the inhabitants, In the case studied, the directive does not have a proactive leadership that promotes the social cohesion of the inhabitants, therefore, management capacity becomes weak making it impossible to meet needs. Another case that can be indicated is the ignorance of the functions as neighborhood representatives, indicated in COOTAD art. 307 literals a-h, causing little control in the execution of public works, absence of participation in the elaboration of the PDyOT that the Municipality carries out together with the presidents of the communities, causing their needs to be neglected because they are not included in the planning; Likewise, they do not promote the cohesion and participation of the inhabitants, creating an atmosphere of conformity and individuality. The study of the context stems from the interest of researchers, to know reality directly and propose alternatives that contribute to the development of the place, and at the same time achieve the social cohesion of the inhabitants. The place of study is located in the citadel El Nazareno Nuevo Santa Rosa parish, Santa Rosa canton, province of El Oro, its limits are, to the North, the Ferns, to the South, Las Cañas, to the East, La Alborada and to the West, Los Ceibos.
