Evaluación de impactos ambientales del botadero municipal del cantón Arenillas

Abstract

Solid waste attributes great problems both nationally and globally, due to the economic, environmental and health impacts caused by its inadequate management, for which reason the governments in charge have the power to implement measures that contribute to mitigation and solution of these impacts, being the main one, the construction of sanitary landfills for a final disposal, however the inefficient and incorrect management has transformed them into constant sources of contamination. The inefficient management of the activities carried out in the sanitary landfill of the Arenillas canton due to the lack of logistic, technical and economic resources, has caused various impacts both to the environment and to the people who work there, for this reason the purpose of the This research is based on the determination of the main impacts caused by the final poor disposal of solid waste. The development of the present investigation was based on a deductive approach which is fundamental for the generation of information on solid waste management at the national level and in this way relate it to the problem that exists in the sanitary landfill of the Arenillas canton, This being the research study area, it is also based on scientific and field bibliography essential for the elaboration of conceptions, norms and the description of the integrating proposal.
