Estudios geotécnico como elemento de análisis y diseño de cimentaciones para viviendas de tres pisos en la ciudad de Machala.

Abstract

The purpose of this document is to define the geotechnical information of an area belonging to the south east of Machala, and based on such information in the area, define a foundation alternative for a 3-story building. For the exploration of the soil the Ecuadorian Standard of the construction with respect to geotechnics and foundations was implemented, in which it defined that for a building of 3 plants it is necessary to analyze the soil at a depth of 6m (NEC STANDARDS - 2015). The study is in an area of 160Ha was carried out in four sectors of the area that are The Citadel San Ramón, In the Citadel García Guillen, Lotización Francisco Abad, and LA Avenida Colón Tinoco and Alejandro Castro Benítez, 4 perforations were carried out in the sectors mentioned above that form a polygon, the exploration was arranged with the objective of defining the sequence of the strata of the sectors and in this way defining a georeferenced stratigraphic chart that serves to define the type of soil there is at any point within the delimited area by the polygon, for constructive purposes. The exploration work was carried out with the SPT equipment (standard penetration test) and also unaltered samples were obtained throughout the exploration, for their respective soil laboratory tests.
