Análisis FODA y su incidencia en la planificación estratégica de un hospital de la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The purpose of this degree work was to develop a situational diagnosis, through the SWOT analysis that determines the incidence of strategic planning at the Hospital de Guayaquil. The case made by Cevallos and Anchundia was taken as a study reference, therefore, an investigation of the existing problem was carried out, determining that the Hospital of Guayaquil does not have structured planning and management tools. The methodology used was deductive and quantitative-qualitative analysis with a descriptive scope. The research variable was based on the SWOT analysis and strategic planning. The results obtained show that the company has more positive than negative aspects, however, it is necessary to implement the instrument: a table of strategies, in which it is possible to identify the proposed objectives, the strategies to be developed and the person responsible for executing the corresponding actions in order to counteract the negative aspects of the organization.
