Abstract

Risk management has been an important matter since in every environment we have found ourselves prone to suffer the effects of a natural or derived incident from the actions of people. The present investigation has developed the general objective to elaborate a Risk Management Plan through the situational analysis of the UTMACH FCE for the protection of human lives, in two stages that were the identification of safety protocols and the determination of measures preventive; A qualitative descriptive methodology was applied, focused on the review of the Sistema Nacional de Gestión de Riesgos y Emergencias portal, the review of literature of scientific journals, and the direct observation of the environment as part of the field work for the collection of information related to the problematic The results obtained were having identified the set of procedures and stages through which the UTMACH FCE situational diagnosis should be passed for the elaboration of the plan in question, considering the risks considering that there is no adequate preparation in the culture of the students neither in the infrastructure and the regulations, processes and schedule of execution of the plan. It has been concluded that risk management in an educational institution is an integrative process that involves all internal and external agents with authority on the subject, making it necessary to adapt the infrastructure and improve the culture of the university community.
