Proceso de atención de enfermería en el cuidado del paciente con parkinson en la parroquia “el progreso”

Abstract

Parkinson's disease (E.P) is a pathology that is increasing the number of cases significantly worldwide, affecting 9.3% of the population that is older than 60 years of age. This disease is neurodegenerative, altering the voluntary motor abilities of the individual, these are manifested in erratic involuntary movements, in addition to a loss of muscle strength and tone; as well as a remarkable stiffness of the upper and lower limbs of the people who suffer from it. The diagnosis of PE is made when there are these primary symptoms mentioned above, so that the pathology cannot be confirmed prematurely, the evolution of the disease is progressive, but it differs in each case in which it develops. The objective of this case analysis is to apply the nursing care process in patients diagnosed with Parkinson's, through assimilated theoretical knowledge, to improve the quality of life of the user.
