Abstract
La investigación se llevó a cabo en el Camal Municipal del Cantón Machala, desde el 10 de Diciembre del 2012 al 7 de Febrero del 2013; con la finalidad de determinar la Prevalencia de Úlcera gástrica en cerdos que se faenan en el establecimiento antes mencionado, para esto se plantearon los siguientes objetivos y obtuvieron los siguientes resultados, el índice de prevalencia de úlcera gástrica que se obtuvo es de 5,24 %; además se comprobó que hubo mayor predisposición de los machos a padecer la patología que en las hembra con lo referente al sexo, con lo referente a la procedencia se estableció que en Tenguel y Balsas son los cantones con mayor índice de prevalencia de úlcera gástrica; y con lo referente a la localización de la úlcera se obtuvo todos los casos positivos en la región cardial de los estómagos inspeccionados; con lo referente a la alimentación un gran porcentaje de animales positivos a esta patología fueron alimentados con concentrado.
Description
The research was carried out in the Municipal Slaughterhouse Canton Machala, from December 10, 2012 to February 7, 2013, in order to determine the prevalence of gastric ulcers in pigs are slaughtered in the above listing, for this the following objectives and obtained the following results, the rate of prevalence of gastric ulcer that was obtained is 5.24%, also found that there was increased susceptibility of males to suffer the disease than in the female with regard sex, with regard to the provenance was established in Tenguel and Balsas are the counties with the highest prevalence of gastric ulcer, and with regard to the location of the ulcer all positive cases was obtained in the cardial region stomachs inspected, with respect to power a large percentage of this pathology positive animals were fed with concentrated.
