Abstract

Tour guides facilitate the interaction between tourists and the environment in which they find themselves, be it a natural or cultural attraction, since they are responsible for transmitting the heritage value that the attraction has through interpretation techniques and through different forms communication. Then, this research aims to publicize the professional profile of tourist guides as interpreters of the Bosque Petrificado de Puyango, located in the canton of Las Lajas, one of the most important attractions of the province of El Oro, and that is the unique that has characteristics of underwater life and petrified logs.
