Aprovechamiento de los recursos turísticos de la playa la puntilla para el desarrollo económico del cantón El Guabo.

Abstract

Due to the scarcity of projects or proposals that admit the good use of those attractions full of natural beauty and landscape the need to carry out the present research on the tourist development applied to the tip of the tendial parish, Canton El Guabo - province of El Oro, whose purpose is to increase its use and tourism development. The research was of a qualitative nature thanks to the use of technical data sheets provided by the Ministry of Tourism that allowed to demonstrate the intrinsic and extrinsic characteristics of the attractiveness in study. And of a quantitative through the use of statistical data in order to stratify sociodemographic background, motivations, knowledge and promotion of those who visit the beach. The methodology corresponded to the use of the documentary method – bibliographic, descriptive and analytical. The techniques used were direct observation, and the survey produced with multiple selection questions, which through the infinite or unknown sample formula resulted in the application to 384 people. The result projected data on a large presence of natural resources with a regular endowment in tourist plant and infrastructure, but they have not helped with the supply of the Site since according to the statistical data a low percentage of tourist demand was identified. This result allowed us to know the current situation of the point, highlighting its importance in the framework of local development.
