Programa de prevención de violencia contra la mujer

Abstract

Violence has been part of our history since the beginning of humanity, which is defined as any act through which it seeks to attack another person through physical force, psychological, sexual and patrimonial damage, so that Talking about gender violence manifests itself in unequal conditions and is directed to the opposite sex of the aggressor. In our country until the nineties those women who suffered violence did not have the possibility to denounce, because the denunciation was forbidden between spouses and between ascendants or descendants, since the Ecuadorian constitution of 2008 the right to a free life was reinforced of violence with the State's obligation to give special attention and protection to victims, women, children and adolescents. At present, violence towards women is maintained, within everyday aspects that have been generally normalized by social actors altering the identity and integrity of women. The objective of this essay is to analyze gender-based violence against women, develop a proposal for violence prevention, through the documentary review of books and scientific articles, the development of the prevention program was carried out from a family systemic posture, the following workshops they are aimed at women in a sector or community that can detect early the existence of gender violence, thus avoiding the high increase in the statistical figures of violence and femicide committed in Ecuador.
