Importancia de los métodos de investigación cuantitativa en el estudio del maltrato a las personas con discapacidad en Las Lajas

Abstract

The present work focuses on analyzing the importance of quantitative research methods in the study of the mistreatment of people with disabilities in the canton of Las Lajas, through bibliographic research carried out around the variables established in the object of study, , taking as conceptual references the contributions of the following authors: (Eslava, 2014) Cardona, Agudelo, Restrepo, Sánchez, and Segura (2015), Hernandez (2015), Velasco, Govela, and González (2015), Anaut and Arza ( 2015), Hernández and Millán (2015), Ruf and Tresserras (2015), Rendón, Villasís, and Nova (2016), Martinez (2016), Pupiales and Córdoba (2016), Cadena, Salinas, Rendon, Aguilar, Del Rosario, Sangerman (2017); It has been concluded that quantitative research techniques are of vital importance in any type of research, by allowing us to generate real and accurate data of the object of study and referring to the study of violence to people with disabilities of limited resources is an applicable technique, to achieve with this power to investigate the different contexts: family, educational, community, work, and in this way to be able to determine if there is some type of violence towards the person with disability from the bosom of the family.
