Abstract

Currently the digital era is lived where every process (be it of any kind) is prone to be technified, which solves the need of man to improve and accelerate the processes of development of activities; However, these processes are not done alone, their origin lies in the use of the Internet, the main and fundamental driver of all the technological advances that can be perceived at the moment. Today in educational institutions, medical centers, industries, productive sector, etc. the use of the internet has become essential, because many of its actions are gestated using technologies: the registration of documents related to each activity, storage of directories, etc. they are data that can be stored safely and reliably in the cloud, which makes the internet an important tool in social development. However, the current society that lives the technological process uses wireless networks that allow you to connect to the Internet from any device to a specific radio, without the need to use cables connected to a router. The technology that uses this type of connection is known as Wireless Fidelity (WIFI), used in a wide degree in Universities benefiting both teachers and students and administrative staff. Below is an analysis of the state of Internet connection in UACE of the Technical University of Machala, for which a table is intended to give knowledge of their status and an opinion on the means that could be used to improve this.
